destroyalord7 must be too young to have heard of war of the worlds. Very, very cool game.

I'm sure I've played this before. And like last time, I had more fun shooting the captives then anything else.

UknownXL responds:

Maybe I will make a game about that.

Too similar to what we've already seen in other games. You'll have to do better to land on the front page. Otherwise, a solid game with some good stuff in it. I'm already anxious for BS&P2, haha. Also - is it pirate month already?

I don't think it's fair to start deleting comments you don't like. All I said was that I disagreed with your sense of humor and I felt it was a waste of an excellent looking game. Seriously, this could have been a really fun game. But I'm seeing the community isn't happy with this either.

Not nearly as bad as some make it out to be. Unnecessarily difficult with the weird moving dot thing and way to many enemies early on means I'm not going to waste a lot of time trying to go deeper.

While a dramatic improvement over the console games, it still reminds me of everything I hated about the games. Like how Archers use stamina to fire a shot, and then are dead in the water, despite the fact that enemy archers are clearly using a buttstroke motion when they get in close. Or that ultimately your wizard is just a refilling health potion. Or that, the difference in defense between a shield build and a two hand build is negligible, and in fact, the two-hand usually does twice the damage anyways and clearly outshines the other. If everyone can backstab, why am I playing a rogue? If I'm playing a warrior, why are all my skills buffs and debuffs? Why is there no good equipment for my mage? While fun for a moment, it wears thin after a while and the movement mechanic is infuriating. Just give me WASD already. The biggest pro here is the grid, turn based combat. In the console version, you had to mash the pause button everytime you wanted to make a plan or a tactic, jarring you from the game immersion. This is actually pretty good setup, since it lets you take command of a host of features, like which items to use, equip other items or even level up, if you hadn't for some reason. The biggest failure of that system is the way the archers are maligned, since this is really the ideal situation for them. Aiming in DA sucked; it was like nobody on the development team played a GTA game or clone. I did some testing and have come to the conclusion that none of the shield buffs work properly, since everyone did the same damage to me anyways. Now, I'm pretty sure this was plopped out to remind us about DA, and that means a new title is on the way. But that doesn't really excuse the volume of persistent bugs and crashes. Its kind of embarrassing that a company that large couldn't put a simple flash game through it's paces and doesn't speak well for the upcoming release. All said, it was a fun time waster, and it gets a solid cheer for that.

No matter how many hundreds of thousands of clones of these games I play, I enjoy them immensely and spend hours learning each and every level to that last perfect, one shot kill. You got the extra .5 for the Indiana Jones bit, but don't be surprised if you get a strongly worded letter in the future.

Not a negative comment, but why is it that in every single one of these games there is a hint button that jumps to a new screen on a page littered with youtube videos? Are you that hard-up for site traffic? Like I'm really going to stop playing long enough to load a new video and watch it for flash game tips. I do that enough for Skyrim as it is, and this isn't Skyrim. If you're going to offer hints or advice, do so inside the game. I think that would be less frustrating and abusive.

This is awful. You should really make sure things are tight before submitting it. I couldn't get too far because the controls were simply broke and didn't respond at all to my mouse. I'm sure it could be good, but you'd have to put some work into it. The graphics kind of reminded me of when newgrounds just started to take off - in other words, the bar is a lot higher now for a front page game.

Kind of wish I knew how to play. 5 stars because everyone else is doing it.

EdibleCastle responds:

what an awful reason for giving 5 stars

Cool game. Lots and lots and lots of balancing issues though. (Wait! Why is the game getting harder! All I have is a rifle! AND my only survivor died! Now I can't search! And it gets even HARDER! - whine)

Doesn't mean I'll stop playing any time tonight though.
